[audio]Fate Norris, Gid Tanner, Hugh Cross, Lowe Stokes, Clayton McMichen, and K. D. Malone - A Day At the Country Fair - Skillet Lickers
Columbia 15332-D... Recorded on October 24, 1928. Not officially a Skillet Lickers record, this comedic skit was released with a cast list instead of a credited artist. This is probably due to the absence of Riley Puckett and the fact that none of the rest of the group play at the same time. Tanner plays a wild fiddle alone and sings all the musical parts himself. The rest of the group either speak or play background music.

Brunswick 246... Recorded in February of 1928. All anyone seems to know about the Holsteins are that they were street singers. It starts with a brief Bible quotation by Rev. Holstein, then a piano player with lead fingers starts playing. The song ends oddly, with Rev. Holstein shouting "That's all!", over the piano's final note.
